About Me

Hello There!

     Thank you so much for checking out my website! My name is Maya Koch and I am a 20 year old artist. I have wanted to be an artist since I was in middle school, when I began developing my skills. I went from drawing my little pony and anime characters with a mechanical pencil to what you see now! It took a lot of time and effort to get to where I am today and i still have so much to learn!

     I specialize in Charcoal and Graphite drawings as well as oil and acrylic painting. Other skills in my arsenal include digital drawings and designs as well as Mural painting. I have done two murals in my previous high school which I am very proud of and will post pictures of below!

     I am still developing my style and what niche I really align with. But I am now convinced that artists spend their whole career doing so! No rush for me then haha! But if i had to explain my style currently it would probably include the words "creepy", "cutesy","emotional" and "weird". I love to just start drawing or painting with no plan and see where the pen takes me! 

     Thanks to my family and friends I have found the courage to post and sell my art. I want to especially thank my mother, she has always been my #1 fan and supporter. She has taught me to believe in myself and my skills. I Love you mom!
